Aura Garrido Sanchez is a Spanish film and television actress. She was an actress in Stockholm as well as the television series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is a Madrid native born 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and their mother Pilar Sanchez is a painter. In her fourth year, she began taking piano classes and, shortly after that, ballet. She is fluent in English thanks to having an English-speaking best friend growing up. Following the requirements for high school, she attended her first college, the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico (Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico) in Madrid. She took classes in interpreter up to the end of her third year. She specialized in interpreting texts. In 2010, she was cast in Planes Para Manana which earned her the Silver Biznaga as best supporting actor.
