Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's food is an invitation to explore the possibilities within her. She began to be interested in food and cooking after moving from suburban Long Island to the diverse cultures of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and carnetas, she believes, can coexist on the same menu. Her sensibility is always developing. What remains is her singular view of the future, while still wishing to reminisce about the previous. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in 2013. The restaurant was opened by her as a result of her heritage as an Italian-American. The restaurant's version of traditional Italian food is among the most sought-after restaurants in Los Angeles. Patrons have described Scopa as an essential neighbourhood staple, where Lofaso always serves food that is inviting authentic and undeniably satiating. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary who employed sophisticated methods. However, she did not fear taking extraordinary risk to follow her own instincts. After quickly rising to the top of the ladder and transforming several Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. Lofaso and Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Her home was within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business alliances. Lofaso was able to achieve her dream of creativity by working with her. Black Market is not constrained by a single direction, and that is the intention. The course will begin by serving dill-flavored chips on potato Shishito peppers and follow up with Korean Wings.
