Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She received a B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actress and producer who is active in films theater and on television. Her acting career began in the theatre. Then she appeared on numerous television shows as well as independent and mainstream film. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance on BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. She made her professional debut with the character Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. On Broadway, she has appeared as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Film-wise, she's best known for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In television, her role on ABC's drama about police High Incident is well known.
